The Sound Behind the Music
A little about the journey so far
Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was young, I played in bands, with bass and guitar as my main instruments, but I had never really considered myself a songwriter.
It was during the lockdown that I began writing songs. In the middle of that unexpected pause, an old passion for music came back to life and opened a completely new chapter for me.
What began almost as an experiment gradually became a deeper journey into songwriting, recording and production. I started learning how to build songs from the ground up, exploring arrangements, sounds and the many possibilities of working in a home studio.
I'm Italian and have been living in the UK for several years, bringing with me a lifelong love of music and a Mediterranean sensibility that continues to shape my work. Somewhere between these two worlds, my own musical voice has continued to develop: shaped by the passion, warmth and instinctive intensity of my Mediterranean roots, but also by the quieter reflection, measured perspective and northern atmospheres I have found in Britain.
Perhaps that contrast is part of what naturally finds its way into my songs — the emotional and the thoughtful, the restless and the still.
My music draws from classic rock, progressive rock and the tradition of the singer-songwriter. I am especially drawn to strong melodies, expressive guitars, layered arrangements and songs that leave room for reflection.
Although my influences reach back to the music I grew up with, I am interested in combining that heritage with a contemporary, independent approach to recording and production.
I continue to write, arrange and record independently, one song at a time. Each project is part of an evolving journey — sometimes looking back, sometimes looking forward, but always searching for something honest in the music.
